General laws apply.  Kids must be 15 or younger.  The kids derby will consist of the 5 largest weighing fish.  All species are eligible, extra prizes are awarded for trout.    The time weighed in will be the tie breaker.    The child entering a fish must be the angler that caught the fish.  No exceptions!  The entry fee for kids is $5.00.  Fish pool fees are an additional $5.00. See the fish pool page for more info.

       The Derby will be held at the public launch in Limington, ME.  An attendant will be available the prior night for early sign up from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at 4:00 A.M the day of the derby.  You may start fishing at 5:15 a.m. and will end at 3:00p.m. No fish will be weighed in after 3:00.   An award ceremony will be held at 3:30 at the boat launch. 

          Door prizes will be given out the day of the derby.  If a door prize is not claimed at the time of  the award ceremony, it will be given to another angler. Your entry tag can be used when redrawing the door prizes before the closing ceremonies.  You must be present to receive door prizes.  All Raffles will be drawn by 1:00 p.m. and posted on the board.  If the raffle ticket has the name, number and address on the back you do not have to present to win.  If the ticket does not have that  info on the back  and has not been claimed, the raffle will be drawn again and announced at the closing ceremonies.
